Learn to design a product from an idea to a prototype
Who are we?
We are a Romanian initiative started in 2022 with the aim of helping high-school students understand the field of UI/UX design. We do not ask for fees from our students and believe in the free exchange of information and the right of expressing oneself.
How do we achieve our goal?
We achieve the goal of teaching high-school students UI/UX design with the help of a custom curriculum based on the Design Thinking Process. Our curriculum includes three modules: EDI, Prototype and Test. With the help of the three modules, our students are able to create, test and showcase a working web or mobile prototype that addresses a user problem.
Why UI/UX Design?
The design of everyday apps and websites greatly influences the modern world. Knowing how the web and mobile space is designed means being able to understand how the world is built and where it is headed. The UX designer understands the user and puts it front and center in the product design process.
#1
UX Design is not a random or mysterious process. The designs you create are supported by research and feedback from the users. Learn how to empathize with the user, define a problem statement and ideate on a solution in the first module of the course, EDI.
#2
In the second module, Prototype, you will use one of the best prototyping tools called Figma to bring your ideas to life. Learn how to design accessible user interfaces and dive into the world of design systems.
#3
In the third module called Test, you will learn how to conduct a usability study and test early concepts. You will gather data, look for patterns, explore trends and share insights.

Now I’m looking to improve my skills with Figma.

I will definitely continue to make more creations in the future!
Hello! My name is Nicolas and my journey at the Scoala de UX was amazing! It led me to create my first website prototype for BMW. I have learned that, before I start a website or a project in general, it is important to see the age of people interested in our product, a few questions before we start product, to see what expectations we have to satisfy. For me, it was hard to make a prototype for “BMW”, but I would redo it again.
